Legal Executive

Admitted to the Phillipines Bar

Claudine is a Legal Executive of Ascentsia Law Corporation. Claudine earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 1992. She was admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of the Philippines in 1994. She also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree, with a focus on International Laws and International Commercial Laws, from University of Cambridge. She was a recipient of Bursary Grant by The Cambridge Overseas Trust and graduated in 1996. She is a lifetime member of Hughes Hall, Cambridge.

In 1999, she was a recipient of a Research Fellowship Grant from the Netherlands Fellowship Program for the postgraduate course of International Laws of Organizations and Development at The International Institute of Social Studies at The Hague, The Netherlands, a development department of Erasmus University Rotterdam.

In 1996, Claudine was an Associate Lawyer of a Philippine law firm where she played a key role in the firm’s Corporate, Intellectual Property, and Litigation Departments. She was also a Corporate Counsel for various companies in the Philippines and a volunteer pro bono lawyer. In 2007, she moved to Singapore and became a Foreign Legal Advisor of a law firm’s Banking & Finance Practice, Corporate & Commercial Practice Group, and Compliance & Regulatory Practice Group. In 2009, she joined another Singapore law firm whose main specialisation is in the area of Conveyancing Laws and Real Estate Transactions and Financing as a Legal Executive.

As a hobby, Claudine paints using watercolour as art medium.
