Amanda graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with an LLB (Hons) in 2013 and obtained an LLM in Corporate & Financial Services Law from the National University of Singapore in 2014. She was called to the Singapore Bar in 2017.

Her main areas of practice have included equity capital markets, corporate finance, securities regulations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate regulatory and compliance, and corporate secretarial services for private and public listed entities.

Amanda has been involved in a broad range of international transactions, and has experience acting for listed entities, financial institutions, multinational corporations and start-ups across various sectors. She also advises on general banking, corporate and commercial matters.

Practice Highlights

• Advised the independent committee of Accordia Golf Trust Management Pte. Ltd. (as trustee-manager of Accordia Golf Trust) in connection with the JPY61,800 million divestment of the trust’s interests in all its golf courses in 2020.
• Singapore legal counsel for the spin-off by Grindrod Limited of its shipping business to Singapore-incorporated Grindrod Shipping Holdings Ltd. (GSHL) and the US$320.7 million primary listing of GSHL on NASDAQ and secondary listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in 2018.
